parenting plan
After a divorce when can you change the parenting planor parts of it. My ex pays insurance for my child but refuses to change to my ins. which is better and pays back tyour deductible and is free and he will not because he will have to pay me more child support. he gets a discount because we have joint custody and he carries my son on his insurance. Recently he paid me less child support because there was a med bill that we owed and he took it upon himself to pay me less to pay for med bill which would have been fine if he had asked . What should I do and when or can I change parenting plan in Missouri. He also has a different job and is always asking to switch and change things and the parenting plan does not follow his schedula any longer and is making my life very hectic because I am trying to let my son see his dad but always last minute changes.

You can file a Motion to Modify with the Court that granted your divorce whenever there are continueing and substantial changes in circumstances which make the terms of the original judgment unjust and not in the best interests of the parties. In certian cases involving only custody provisions, there is a separate standard requiring only that the modification sought be in the best interest of the child. You should probably calculate a new form 14 in order to determine whether it would make economical sense to go back to court.
