Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I recently moved out of my mothers house in March, I am 19 and in college full time. My mother still recieves child support from my father and does not help with school or anything. Is there something my father or I can do to get the child support stopped or sent to me.

You may sue your mother for college support. It sound sdrastci, but the suit may wake her up and you hopefuly will no thave to actually take her to trial. In the alternative, your father may petition the court for a change in child support, and cite that the money that is going to Mom is not going toward the care and colege of you. You may join in his suit, if you like. Your father should meet with an attorney in his area, to examine the options.

Good luck
