Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Relocation with a child

I am still legally married although we haven't been together in over 2 years. I have custody of my daughter and there is no visitation schedule set up right now. I am wanting to relocate to another state and need to know if I will possibly encounter any legal issues in doing so. My husband had moved out of the state for almost a year and just recently moved back. Will that help my situation any, and do you think that I will encounter any seroius problems? Thanks for your time.

Re: Relocation with a child

First of all, it sounds like you need to establish paternity legally, and also establish an Order for child support. In any event, you need to comply with the relocation statute at least two months before you relocate with the child. You should consult with an attorney before taking any action.
