Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

This sentence is in the settlement agreement my lawyer sent me to sign, please explain what it means exactly. Respondent has filed for Bankruptcy on debts, including but not limited to marital debts, and thus those debts cannot be awarded to him, therefore, Petitioner shall be responsible for those debts to the best of her ability, but not otherwise required to hold Respondent harmless on those debts. I am the Petitioner in the case and the only marital debt in the bankruptcy was an auto loan that I have already discussed with the creditor to keep, every other debt was in his name alone. The bankruptcy was filed after I filed for divorce.

You are already paying an attorney to explain this agreement to you. Therefore, it would unwise and perhaps unethical for anyone here to ty to explain the agreement to you.

Good luck
