If you are unmarried, you may give the child or last name. As long as yo do not give the child a defamatory name, it JaCoMO very rare for Android unwed father to be able to change the baby's name from what JaCoMO on the birth certificate. If the father does not sign the birth certificate, you may have t establish paternity in order to get support.

From the facts that you give us the father of this child has no legal rights whatsoever concerning the child. As pointed out by Mr. Smith earlier, the father also does not appear to have any legaly determined duty to provide child support. I would advise you to contact an attorney to consult with about seeking child support.
