Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

Filing a civil judgement from another state in a Tennessee court

We have a judgement awarded in a Missouri Court for $30,000 against TN residents. What process do we have to go through to get this judgement filed in a TN court (Knoxville, TN)? How long does it take to get the judgement filed in TN? Once it is filed, how long does it take to attach the people's wages ? What procedures are followed? What is the maximum amount of money that the employeer can withhold from a pay check? Can their bank accounts also be attached to collect the judgement? If so, how much can be taken? What is the time frame / procedures for this?

Missouri/Tennessee Judgment

If you have a judgment in Missouri, the judgment should be recognized in Tennesse if you file a lawsuit in the proper court in Tennessee and recite the facts of the Missouri judgment. However, your questions are too numerous to answer through this reply. I would suggest crossing one stream at a time. But you cannot do anything until the Missouri judgement is recognized as valid by a Tennessee court.
