Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

vehicle costs/liable for an accident

Can we legally be asked to pay costs from an accident that occured when I was driving another persons car? They asked me to transport the vehicle for them. They only carried liability insurance on the car at the time I was asked to drive it. What about morally? Should we pay?

I would have to gather more facts in order to determine whether you bear any liability. It may be necessary to examine the various insurance policies would could be applicable. Your liability may depend on whether there is a valid subrogation claim against you. Feel free to shoot me an email or call me for a consultation.
