Legal Question in Immigration Law in Missouri

hello. is there a way of converting an h1b visa to a religious visa (COS) without leaving the US? how long does it usually take? while processing is it possible to leave the US then return when issued?

upon termination of employment, can one stay if they have a tourist visa--- to take care of affairs? is it possible to file for tourist without leaving the US as part of Cos?

Yes, it's possible. An applicant has to be in a valid H1B status, and has to be eligible for a religious or visitor's visa (whatever visa he is applying to change his status to).
