I'm am a gay, and my opt is expired this month. I have a boyfriend who is us citizen. He wants to marry me to help me stay here. We have known earth other like a year. And he broke up with his ex like 3 or 4 month ago. He also had DUI. Is there any problem we can get married in order to apply green card for me?

His DUI should have no relevance to your case. USCIS checks the beneficiary's criminal background, not the petitioner's.

Once married, he needs to file for you right away, since work permits take about 75 days.

You will need to submit joint documentation & proof of a bona fide marriage. A short relationship could be subject to heightened scrutiny, but it doesn't mean the case will be denied,

Good luck on your upcoming nuptuals!
