Re: insurance claim denied

Welcome to the world of insurance. Insurance companies all too often these days deny claims without basis for doing so. Your remedy? A claim for vexatious refusal to pay, which will entitle you to punitive damages as well as attorney fees.

You should contact a qualified trial attorney right away, however, as evidence that you will need becomes harder to gather the longer you wait.

Re: insurance claim denied

This is really a fairly common problem with some insurors. I would suggest that you consult with an attorney. Show the attorney everything from the initial application and first premium all the way up to the last cancelled checks and claim information. If you have ever received any "notices" of termination or cancellation from the insuror you should definitely share these with your attorney. It may be that an attorney will be able to persuade the insuror to reconsider their position and make a settlement with you. If not, it may be that an attorney will advise you to file suit. Good luck.
