This is a situation that I have handled many times. Often, the insurance adjuster is just trying to get the company out of the claim at the lowest cost to the company. The adjuster will look for ways to decline or reduce coverage. The bottom line is that if the house was a total loss, the policy limit should be paid. I can help you with this if you would like. Please do not hesitate to call or email. Thank you.

Unfortunately, thats very common. While I obviously dont have all the facts, it seems based upon what youve said that the insurance company is testing you, to see if they can push you around. You need an attorney to show them that youre not going to accept their low-ball offer.

I can help you with this if you like. Im not allowed to put a phone number in here, but you can get it from my website.
