I am from misouri I am in a 9 month lease and I just got approved for a home to buy and I want to get out of my lease wthout goin broke my landlord wants 2 months rent 1100 dollars and to keep my deposit 550 is there any way to break my lease without paying so much I have 5 months left of my lease its done may 31st 2010

If yoru written rental agreement states alesser damage amount for early termination, you may use that figure. Otherwise, you may have to sublet your rental space until the end of yrou lease, or take in arenter in your new palce to offest what you will have to pay for rent on the old place until the lease ends.
