Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Missouri

Mobile home purchase agreement

I received a termination of tenancy letter from the managers of my trailer park after a verbal altercation between the landlord and my husband. We are not behind on the rent or the trailer payments, and are not sure what rights we have. any advice would be greatly appreciated. As legal aid won't take the case.

Re: Mobile home purchase agreement

There are statutes that protect mobile home tenants. Generally speaking, you cannot be terminated for anything not specifically provided for in the lease. Most parks have long lists of rules and a violation of the rules may be grounds for eviction if its stated in the lease. You need to read your lease. If you are renting the lot, and not the trailer (e.g., you own the trailer) you may have more rights.

You'll need to see a lawyere to get the help you need; this is not something that you can get an opinion over the internet on and have the be helpful. Go see a lawyer.
