Legal Question in Personal Injury in Missouri

My car was hit in a parking lot while it was parked. Geico now says it is a total loss but is only willing to give me half of its value. I am considering taking the woman to small claims court. Do I have to name her insurance(Gieco ) also in my suit?

If the woman you are refering to, is the driver that hit your car, you would name her as the defendant in a law suit. Her insurer will probably provide an attorney to defend her. You might consider hiring one of your own. Many will evaluate your case for free. Keep in mind, that you will have to convince the court of the value of your loss. Generally, it is the difference between what you car was worth just before it got hit, minus what it is worth now.

Good luck
