Any good med. mal. lawyer should be able to take a look at the case. Feel free to contact me.

Contact an experienced medical malpractice attorney. The attorney should be willing to have the case evaluated by an expert in the field. Note that these cases are subject to a Statute of Limitation. Do not delay. If a lawsuit is not filed within the applicable Statute of Limitation, it will be forever barred.

Re: chiropractic neck manuiplation

You need a competent medical negligence attorney who has worked with this kind of case in the past, who knows the anatomy, and who has access to experts who can help prove the case.

Our partner, Jim Bartimus, has handled these kinds of cases and done so successfully.

Good questions to ask of any attorney are:

Have you handled this kind of case before (meaning a neurovascular case, not a generic garden-variety med mal case)

Do you have access to neurological experts who can testify on the standard of care?

How do I know you will devote sufficient time and energy to my case?

Will you or one of your associates try my case?

All these questions help you figure out if the law firm you are dealing with is reputable and can handle this kind of case.

For what it's worth, I would stay away from the folks who advertise on television because for the most part they refer your case to other attorneys and don't try the cases themselves, although this is not always the case.

Good luck with finding the appropriate attorney, and my sincere condolences for what you've gone through.
