Re: deposit

In Missouri (like most states) you are not entitled to interest on your security deposit UNLESS the lease provides for interest to be paid to the tenant. Most landlords do not provide for interest to be paid, as they are not required to do so. However, your landlord is required to return your security deposit within 30 days after termination of your lease, or provide you with an itemized list of damages and the remainder of the security deposit. If you need assistance, feel free to give me a call or send an email.
