Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

My partner and I purchased a car a while back. It was registered under his name and not mine, however the agreement we had was that I was to pay more of the payment since I use it for work and use it more than him. I pay $200 of the payment and also keep gas in the car, keep up with maintainance, paying the registration, oil changes and most anything else the car has needed since I have to keep a reliable car for me to use on my job site... He pays $48 towards the payment, and pays insurance... Nothing else.. If I leave him, do I have ANY rights to the vehicle???

It seems that you assume he won't let you continue to use the vehicle. For that reason, you might formalize the understanding. If you plan to leave, don't keep paying for maintenance, etc., unless your future use is protected. It is his car, and as it is now, you cannot take it with you without his permission.

Good luck
