Re: Property

If you marry this man and he devises some property to the children of his former wife, you may still be able to get some or all of it. But, you should consult with an attorney that has acess to more of the facts of your situation, before deciding how to act.

There are provisions where a surviving spouse can opt to take their intestate share despite a will (called "taking against the will") and therefore get property they might not have otherwise. There are many variables that must be considered in such a situation. That is why you need to consult with an attorney who can discuss this with you in more depth than is possible in this forum.

Good Luck
