water wells

I owne two house and want to share a well. montclam county say for two houses to be hook up I have to be 800 ft. awy from the gas station next door.but if I hook up one house only 50 ft. away. state coed says nothing. I don't owne 800 ft. away. they want me to drill two wells. I can't afford it Im unempolyed. help me!

State code is a bit irrelevant if you need a permit from the county to build the well. Is this in the montcalm county code or was this part of the process of requesting a permit to get the well built?
