Legal Question in Traffic Law in Missouri

I was driving on a back street late at night in my town. There was a cop on the street perpendicular to the one that I was traveling on, two houses down and parked with his lights off on the side of the road in front of a house. There were no street lights where he was parked and it appeared that the car was a visitor of that house since it was parked partially in that person's yard. When I looked both ways, I observed nothing coming and didn't come to a complete stop. I saw out of the corner of my eye, the car turn on his headlights and pull out. He then followed me to the the next street where he pulled me over and gave me a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign. Is this entrapment?
