You will be reimbursed for yout time that you are temporarily disabled. The employer will not likely reimburse you for doctor's appointmnet time, but may allow you to go to thre doctor without cl.ocking out. Your attorney will be able to explain the application to you case, and if there us a need for a second injury fund claim.

Good luck

You did not mention whether or not you had legal representation. Depending upon various factors, you may or may not benefit from being represented by an attorney. In most cases, a person who is injured on the job receives more total compensation when everything is said and done if that person has an attorney. Many attorneys if not all attorneys who handle worker's compensation cases work on a contingencey fee basis so that you will not have to pay any attorney's fees out of pocket. Many if not all of those attorneys will be happy to offer you a free in-office consultation to determine whether or not legal representation would be right for you in your particular situation. I am not telling you this so that you will hire me as your attorey. In fact, if you do not have an attorney, I would be very happy to refer you to one of the very best worker's compensation attorneys in the State of Missouri. No matter what you decide to do, I wish you a complete and speedy recovry from your injury and a great result with your claim.

Hi. I am sorry to hear about your second injury. If you are unable to work currently due to the injury, yes, you are entitled to compensation for the time you miss from work, provided you are under a doctor's release. You are entitled to what is known as "temporary total disability" payments, which is based on your weekly wage rate. If you are currently working, but are missing time to attend appointments, you could also be entitled to payment for the hours missed. I have had success in the past in recovering this type of payment for clients. A few additional details would be needed, such as: the type of injury that you have incurred, and whether you are currently on light duty or unable to work entirely. These details would also allow an approximation of the settlement value of your claim to be made. I am a Missouri attorney that focuses my practice primarily on workers' compensation claims, and I handle cases throughout the state. For your convenience, you can e-mail me at [email protected]. Weekends are perfectly acceptable. Thank you.
