Legal Question in Workers Comp in Missouri

I started working for a chicken production plant three months ago, About a month and a half ago a developed numbness, pain, and swelling in my right hand, fingers, wrist and elbow. The pain wakes me up two hours after falling asleep. About three weeks ago my left hand started doing the same. I went to work com doc today and he states that I have the start of carpal tunnel in both hand's after doing a sensitivity test on my hand's. In his report though that I take back to work it states " Injury not related to work"and "no work restrictions" . I wonder why he didn't put what he told me on paper because if I continue doing the fast pace work I'm doing, it's going to get worse ?
