Re: workmens comp simple injuries

Generally speaking, if you have a valid claim you must file a claim within the time allowed by law in order to protect your rights under the worker's compensation law. If you hire an attorney, the attorney will make sure that you properly file that claim. The attorney will also send you to the best doctor to examine you and give a rating of your injury for worker's compensation purposes. The attorney will then negotiate the best possible settlement or put on the evidence at trial to obtain the best possible recovery for you. You will not need to pay the attorney any attorney's fees out of pocket. The attorney will take the case on a contingency fee basis. When the settlement or other recovery of compensation is paid, the attorney will take 25% as his or her fee. If your injury is not substantial enough to justify hiring the attorney, an honest attorney will tell you so. You should consult with an attorney. If you do not already know one, feel free to call me and I will refer you to ne of the very best worker's compensation attorneys inthe state of Missouri.
