Legal Question in Family Law in Montana

Divorce and permanently disabled persons

A friend of mine is wanting a divorce from his wife. He has been permanently disabled for the past five years and is paralyzed from mid-chest down. He works full time and his wife works part time. Are there any lawyers in Montana that are familiar with representing disabled people in divorce proceedings so that they are not taken advantage of during this process? They have been married for fifteen years...no children. He is 57..she is 64.

Re: Divorce and permanently disabled persons

Your friend can call attorneys in his area who practice family law. Most of them have represented

disabled clients and also know other lawyers who can advise about protecting the clients

disability benefits.
