Realignment Stay packages

I got a letter from my CEO, stating that I will recieve an amount of money if I stay in my current position until 07/31/08. We are realigning in 05/01/08. Should I be concerned that it says ''My current position''? Is there other terminology that I can ask her to change it too? Is there somewhere that I should look to make sure I am covered legally?

Difficult to answer without seeing the letter. Usually those offers aren't negotiable. Did the letter say she would negotiate terms? If its important to you one way or the other, it is probably worth paying an attorney to review the terms of the offer.
