Legal Question in Consumer Law in Nebraska

Amazon mixes up packages

I ordered 2 CDs from Amazon, coming up to around 35 dollars or so. They put the address label on the wrong box, so I get someones 6 Blueray discs, which is worth way more then my 2 CDs if I sold them. I called them and they are going to send me a replacement shipment of my 2 CDs, since they don't know where they went. They also gave me a new label to put on the box and send back the Bluerays. So far they haven't said I HAVE to, but said they would thank me very much. Can they do anything to me if I keep them? Is it stealing?

Re: Amazon mixes up packages

I don't advise people on how to do the wrong thing. The right thing to do is return the discs. Most of the vendors on Amazon are individuals who market through the Amazon portal. Many of those people would have a difficult time absorbing losses like that. You'll never regret being nice. You can't always say that about other options.
