Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nebraska

How to learn why police can to my house?

How can I learn the REAL reason Omaha Police Officers came to my house last night around 10pm,(Mon. 5/21)? (Are call-in records &/or police officer ''diaries'' public? They said they were responding to an ANONYMOUS neighbor's call about an underage drinking party in my backyard. In reality, my son & 7 buddies, all recent HS grads, great citizens & scholarship winners, were simply swimming & chatting. (They were NOT very loud.) If I truly have an unhappy neighbor, I would like to work it out with them. (All neighbors deny calling the police. In fact not one even noticed that the boys were in the yard.) But if the officers simply saw several cars in front of our home, heard boys in the back, & decided to check it out, I would like to know this. Finally, if another buddy called it in as a prank, that would be fun info and a relief. (By the way, the police arrested 47 people on Sunday night at a wild graduation party 3 blocks away. My son & his friends had left that party 3 hours earlier to attend other grad parties.) Therefore, I understand how the police could become extra alert to potential underage drinking parties. I appreciate their job, but would like to know the real reason for their visit. How can I learn this? Thx

You can't. Accept the reason they gave you or imagine your own. You do not have legal standing to compel satisfaction of your curiosity.
