shoplifting from work!!?!!?
I was caught shoplifting from the store i work at. I took a $400 IPOD. I already paid them back the full amount and this is my first offense, but they are asking for jail time.Will they get it?

It depends on a lot of factors, but it is certainly possible. Do you have any previous criminal history, other than traffic offenses? If not, diversion is a possibility. You will be in a better position to negotiate if you have a lawyer.
