I am a radio host, and on the air I call myself Polar Bear. My question is if I am able to copyright my radio tag to deter any potential copycats.

Copyright protects works of authorship; Polar Bear is not a work of authorship, so no, you cannot copyright your radio tag.

However, trademark protects business goodwill and operates to prevent consumer confusion. Your radio tag may well be eligible for trademark protection.
