Re: rental house with mold

The answer depends on a number of factors. Does the mold affect everyone or is your son the only one sensitive to the mold? Was the mold present when you moved in? What is creating the mold? How did the doctor determine your son's condition is due to the mold? Is landlord willing to let you out of your lease? Are you willing to move? Why don't you want to fix the problem if landlord is paying for materials? You are likely to need an attorney if you can't come to an agreement with the landlord yourself.
