Whose fence is it?

I bought a house with a back fence in place. I assumed it was on the property line but the survey shows that it is about 6 inches on my property. Do I own the fence? Do I lose that 6 inches?

I don't know who owns the fence, but you appear to own the property it is located on. If your neighbor claims to own the fence, you may force them to remove it from your property.
