Legal Question in Disability Law in Nevada

recourse when ADA compliance is not met

I was at the NAB trade show 2009

but never went to the show as I

called for the ADA transit and never

received a return call or a ride. By

missing the show, I think a reason

Potential loss of income might be 50-

100k. And that is what I feel the

least of the 4-5 incidents. I think

the worst is when the Hilton refused

to supply a ride to the police station

to file a report on a threatening

phone call, threatened to have me

removed because I was making a

fuss over their inscribed policy of no

pay if not 100% satisfied and when

not given a ride to file a police report

on a death threat; I wasn't satisfied.

I made the ADA issue known from

the start. And in their hurry they

never gave me my deposit back so I

wound up spending 3 days in a

psyche ward as only means of

survival. And I took pains to have

someone look at the room and find it

ok so the should be no charges. I

didn't even get the credit card back.

I think I should get something in

return...

Re: recourse when ADA compliance is not met

I go to trade shows all the time, and it has never crossed my mind that a problem causing me to miss something could possibly result in a provable loss of income. I think your claim is worthless and if broght in court will go nowhere.
