Wage garnishment
Can a non secured creditor attach wages from my spouse. She is the primary on the account. Will Bankruptcy filing stop a garnishment if it has been activated?

Yes & Yes. An unsecured creditor can obtain a judgment by suing you in Court and getting a Writ of Execution or Garnishment. This Writ allows the constable or sherrif to take wages or $$$ in the bank.
Bankruptcy stops all collection efforts, so it will stop the garnishment. However, as attorneys we have "trade secrets" to do this more effectively. I urge you to obtain an attorney ASAP - you are welcome to contact my office for details as to pricing, etc.
