copy rights

can a video game company use a drawing that a person submitted for a game? the person who submitted the drawing was never contacted or recieved credit for the drawing that showed up in the game.

If the company made any sort of solicitation for the drawing then it is possible that Unilateral Contract was created.

On the other hand if the drawing was unsolicited then no obligation exists on the other side to protect the interests of the submitter.

In general the drawing is protected by copyright and if a unilateral contract was created then the submitter may have a case for breach of contract and violation of copyright.
