what are the liabilities of purchasing a ''revoked'' corporation.

A revoked corporation isn't a corp. The registration has been terminated and the company is no longer protected and or established under the laws of the state.

I would suggest that you have the "owner" correct the problems before moving ahead.

If you are just buying a revoked name it is not a problem because the old corporation is revoked. If you are a successor-in-interest buyer, or are purchasing hard assets of a revoked corporation, you then may be liable for the revoked corporation's liabilities.
