When is an LLC considered a legal entity? When it is filed or when it is active? This is a Nevada based LLC. The LLC was filed on 03/02/06 and it became active 08/03/06. When was it considered a legal entity? Thanks.

As soon as it is filed it exists as a legal entity.

One the documents are filed and accepted by the Secretary of State, your LLC is a legal entity. The date is is first used is not controlling.

Keep in mind, if you fail to keep up the filings with the SOS, then you run the risk of losing the limited liability that is the cornerstone of the structure.
