Legal Question in Technology Law in Nevada

Could charges be pressed over text messages that contain this?

Kim : ... Was nice talking to you. Bye _____.

Jake : _____ was in an accident. So I don't know who you are seeing as I never heard of a Kim in our group of friends, but do me a favor and deal with your obvious insecurity and clingy side involving her after she gets discharged? Knowing her she was too nice again and obviously she does not need someone like you who gets insulted just because she wasn't talked to for the day, and fails to think that something could have happened.

kim : How about dont try insulting someone if you dont know the full story. Or if you dont know the person at all. The fact that you dont know whats going on and would even attempt to insult someone else is just for me in complete awe. Its obvious you have absolutely no manners. Especially seeing as how you saw one message but i'm clingy. Please get off your high and mighty horse and stop trying to insult peoplwit failed miserably. And if you were a friend you would have let someone know she was in an accident without the theatrics and not insulting someone she called a friend. Check yourself you've for the wrong one. Thanks for the update. When you learn some manners let me know how she's doing. Otherwise have a nice day.

I don't see a basis for charges of any kind, or even for civil liability. Being rude and jumping to conclusions are poor conduct, but they are not illegal.
