Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada

attempted rape of a minor, by proxy?

Is there a statue of limitations for the

attempted rape of a minor? My

mother owned a brothel in Battle

Mountain, Nevada 1980-1982. She

offered any of her

employees/prostitutes $500 to have

sex with either my younger brother

(13 years old) or myself (14 years

old). One woman repeatedly dragged

me to her room. It was a struggle

but I managed to escape (three

times) while my mother looked on.

The sex act never did happen but I'm

still irked. Did my mother break the

law at the time? Or for all time?

(This is not a joke.)
