Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada

dui with bobily harm

My fiance was in a car accident in

may 06.We went to court, paid fines,

& made our last payment @ courthouse in 03/07..Yesterday he was pulled over and taken in custody for a warrent on above

charges, that was issued in novemeber, that we had no clue about??? Now we are worried because we dont want him in jail over something that if we would've know about, we would have taken care of. Shouldn't the courthouse have told us in march ???? Need answer ..Thanks--name removed--

Re: dui with bobily harm

If your fiancee has an outstanding warrant you need to initiate legal proceedings to get it quashed.

The warrant could also be a misunderstanding or clerical error on the police department's office. Without meeting and discussing your matter it is hard to give you an accurate assessment.

Contact my office to set up a consultation with myself and we can discuss your matter.
