I don't want to scare you but a felony warrant is a serious matter. You can be arrested and extradicted back to Nevada and remain in jail for quite a long time. I would recommend hiring an attorney in Las Vegas to file a motion to quash the warrant and trying to work out a plea bargain deal. If payment or restitution can be made this can be done under a payment plan. Usually if you pay up the case gets dismissed and even if you don't the case may be able to be negotiated. This way you avoid jail time. However, you would have to come up with money to retain an attorney who will be able to waive most of your court appearances.

Your options to resolve the warrant are:

1. If you have the money, hire an attorney privately to represent you; or

2. If you don't have the money, turn yourself in to law enforcement, wait to be extradited and have the Public Defender appointed.

Ultimately, the underlying bad check issue will have to be addressed.
