grand jury
about the Michael Jackson case would somebody please explain to me, why they have convened a grand jury after an indictment? I always believed the grand jury was convened before the indictment, please clarify?

Michael Jackson has never been insicted. He just had an arrest warrant issuded. Michael Jackson was just set for preliminary hearing which is used instead of the grand jury. Many times in child abuse cases the prosecutor elects the grand jury so as to minimize the truama to the child from testifying publically twice.
