Warrants from one state, when living in another.

If someone has warrants for traffic offenses and domestic violince in Washington state and they move to Nevada, what happens to that someone if/when they are pulled over or identified in some manner by the athorities in Nevada? Will they be sent back to Washington and if so, how are they returned to Washington state?

Unless the traffic and domestic violence offenses are felonies, nothing is likely to happern. People are not extradited to WA on misdemeanor warrants. The suspension can only be removed by resolving the traffic cases.

The only consequences a person would suffer in NV are (1) the inability to obtain a driver's license because of a suspension in WA resulting from outstanding traffic cases and (2) the possibility of being charged with the crime of driving (in NV) while suspended (in WA).
