Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
Wrong name on a citation
I got citation for a finder-bender in
Nov. but lost the ticket before I had
the chance to pay it. I went in the
court house with the money and
they said they had no record of it. I
went back 2 or 3 more times and got
the same answer. Then I got a
warrant in the mail for not paying
the ticket but the name on the
warrant was incorrect, it had my
middle name as my first name and
first name as my middle. Is their
anyway I could get the citation
dismissed?

Re: Wrong name on a citation
Unlikely you'll get a dismissal if there was an accident. However, you can probably get the warrant money back if you had to pay a fine to quash the warrant.
