Legal Question in DUI Law in Nevada

Getting arrested for a DUI

When you get arrested for a DUI, do they always take your license?

What is the alcohol content if you do the blood test?

How long do they have to file a complaint for a DUI?

I'm asking these questions for a friend, Thank you.

Re: Getting arrested for a DUI

In Nevada, the arresting officer will take your license and issue a 7-day permit if(1)it is a Nevada license and (2) you took a breath test and had .10 BAC. If you took a blood test, your license will be suspended by DMV when the test results are received. .10 is the standard for both breath and blood. A citation is sufficient and considered a complaint.
