Legal Question in DUI Law in Nevada

Hosting An underage Drinking Party

I recently got charged with Hosting An underage Drinking Party and Staying Out Early Hours, I'm going to plead guilty to the curfew issue but whats my best defense against the underage drinking, I'm 16 and i did not provide any alcohol to minors, people just showed up at my house with alcohol and i had no alcohol in my system. So what can I do?

Re: Hosting An underage Drinking Party

Unfortunately, your willingness to allow underage people into your home with alcohol leaves you vulnerable to Hosting an Underage Party even if you didn't provide the alcohol. Your providing the facility is enough for the charge.

My advice to you would be to consult with an attorney regarding these charges. There may be procedural errors on the part of police investigating your crime that may affect the validity of the charges that a non-attorney may not be aware.

Contact my office if you'd like to speak to an attorney in my office. In matters like yours, a small flat fee could be arranged for representation.

Best Regards,
