Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

I have a child support case in another jurisdiction that is over 400 miles in the state which I reside. Can I use an attorney nearby to represent me in this jurisdiction or should I contact someone how works in that location specifically?

With very few exceptions, any attorney that you hire must be licensed in the jurisdiction from which you seek relief. As a practical matter, it is generally less expensive to hire an attorney that practices very close to the court where you need to appear for relief.
