Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

I want to get a divorce so what do we do about our house. We do not have a mortgage

and I guess he's not going anywhere so I guess I have to so what happens in

that case. How do I get my half of the house. Does he have to buy me out or wait

till we sell it? Also can I legally take out half of our savings to live on. He is

very good at hiding things just so I can't get anything.

Can advise be given over the phone because if I went into an office he would

follow me and God only knows what would happen then. He already said he

wants to give me a little money for me to get on with my life. So I know he has no

intention of doing anything about the house.

Sorry this is so long but I need to know what I can do legally.

Thank You

Sharon

If I've ever heard of a case where an attorney is needed, it's this one. There is more that you should do than can be explained to you in this forum. For starters, it appears that you will need a temporary order for support so that you can get by until the divorce is final. Second, you will probably need a temporary order restraining him from entering the home, and further restraining him from following you around. Once those orders are in place, you can proceed with the divorce.
