Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

jurisdiciton

My son has lived in Nevada for almost 3 years, my ex in ca just sent divorce papers. Should I change jurisdiciton to Nevada so I don't have to go to CA when any changes are made. How do I change venue? What are the benefits and disadvantages? I have Nevada telling me one thing and it just seems easier to sign the papers sent, but then it would be a CA divorce?

Re: jurisdiciton

There are advantages and disadvantages to both. Cal. usually gives more child support though.
