parental custody rights

if i'm not married to a man and wasn't even in a relationship with him, but am pregnant with his baby, does he have any legal rights if i wanted to raise the baby without him being involved or if i wanted to put the baby up for adoption?

Yes he does. In order to put the baby up for adoption, his rights have to be terminated. Sometimes, the Court will allow you to serve him by publication if you don't know where he is but since it has been less than 9 months since you last saw him, his address is probably the same.
