Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

past and increase of child support

i need to know how to go about getting an increase of child support from my son's father and how to collect some back child support. i use to get records because i had been on welfare for a couple of years, but since i moved a couple of times, i no longer have them. i have not had the child support payments reviewed since the first time. also, he has two other children and does mine and my husband's income influence the amount of child support payment he has to pay?

Re: past and increase of child support

Here is the Clark County, Nevada website form center for modification of child support:

Remeber, that the statutory maximums increase effective July 1, 2002. The law requires a review every three (3) years, but these laws are not self-executing. You have to take the initiative.

The Clark County, Nevada District Attorney helps for free in collecting support:

These are taxpayer-supported resources, so please make the most of them.
